The Scottish Air Guitar Roadshow 2010 In August 2009, Air Guitar Scotland joined 96.3FM Rock Radio Scotland to present the 1st official Scottish Air Guitar Championships in Glasgow. The winner went on to represent Scotland at the World Air Guitar Championships UK 2009 Final. On top of more recent appearances at Skyfest where Scotland set the Guinness World Record for largest Air Guitar Ensemble, lasting only 4 days before the record was broke again in Spain, Air Guitar Scotland founder, John Georgie, appeared on STV’s “The Hour” in October 2009 with Scottish celebrity Aggie MacKenzie competing live on air!! In 2010, Air Guitar Scotland is hitting the road to reach all corners of Scotland in search for the finest and most unique Air Guitarists.
